VaultifyUK specialises in authentic, collector-grade items. We know that for collectors, condition and authenticity matter just as much as the item itself. Every item we sell is inspected, described carefully, and prepared for dispatch with protective packaging.
This page explains how we verify authenticity, how we assess condition, and what our condition labels mean—so you can buy with confidence.

Authenticity Guarantee
All items sold by VaultifyUK are authentic originals. We do not sell counterfeit, replica, or unauthorised items.
- Products are sourced from reputable suppliers, distributors, and trusted secondary markets
- Branded or licensed products are sold as authentic originals
- If we are unable to verify an item with confidence, it will not be listed for sale

How We Verify Authenticity
Verification methods vary by product type, but may include:
- Supply chain checks: confirming reputable sourcing (authorised suppliers where possible, established secondary markets where not)
- Visual inspection: reviewing print, colour, materials, markings, seals, and build quality against known authentic examples
- Listing consistency: ensuring item details align with known releases (set, edition, product codes, packaging style)
- Certification verification: for graded/certified items, confirming the cert number and grading company details are stated clearly
Note: Where verification is limited (e.g. sealed products), we focus on trusted sourcing and outward inspection. Any concerns identified during inspection result in the item being withheld from sale.
Condition Standards
We aim to describe every item clearly and accurately based on visual inspection and consistent collector standards. This applies to trading cards, graded slabs, sealed products, figures, and other collectible items sold by VaultifyUK.
New Items
- Supplied in manufacturer-sealed or original packaging unless otherwise stated
- Packaging condition may vary slightly due to storage, handling, or transit from suppliers
- Minor factory imperfections can occur and are not always avoidable
Pre-Owned / Collectable Items
- Condition is assessed under good lighting using consistent collector standards
- Any notable wear, marks, or imperfections are described in the listing
- Images form part of the item description and show the actual product where applicable
For collectable items, minor manufacturing variations, print differences, or packaging inconsistencies may occur and are considered normal unless stated otherwise.
Condition Definitions
The following guidelines are used where applicable, particularly for trading cards and collectible items. These are not professional grading outcomes and should be interpreted as practical buying guidance.
Mint (M)
- Virtually flawless under close inspection
- No visible creasing, dents, tears, or significant marks
- Edges and corners appear sharp and clean
- Surface appears clean under normal light (no obvious scratching or whitening)
Note: “Mint” does not imply professional grading and is not a guaranteed grading outcome.
Near Mint (NM)
- Very minor imperfections may be present on close inspection
- Light corner whitening, minor edge wear, or small surface marks may be visible under direct light
- Overall appearance remains excellent and highly collectable
Lightly Played (LP)
- Noticeable but light signs of use or handling
- Minor edge wear, surface marks, or light corner wear may be present
- No major creases, tears, or structural damage
Item remains visually appealing and well cared for.
Moderately Played (MP)
- Clear signs of use or handling
- Edge wear, surface scratching, whitening, or light creasing may be visible
- No severe damage affecting structural integrity unless explicitly stated
Suitable for collectors prioritising affordability or play use.
Damaged
- Significant wear or damage present
- May include creases, bends, tears, water damage, heavy surface wear, or other defects
- Damage will be clearly described in the listing
Items sold as Damaged are priced accordingly and are typically intended for collection completion or play use.
Additional Notes on Condition
- Condition assessments are based on visual inspection only and reflect the item at the time of listing
- Minor factory defects or print variations may exist on new or sealed items
- Packaging condition (e.g. small dents or scuffs) does not always reflect item condition unless stated
- Lighting and screen differences may cause items to appear slightly different in photos
VaultifyUK does not guarantee that an item will achieve a specific professional grade if submitted for third-party grading.
Graded & Specialist Items
Where items are professionally graded or certified (e.g. trading cards or slabs):
- The grade, certifying body, and certification number are clearly stated
- Items are sold in the condition assigned by the grading company
- Graded items are not altered, opened, or tampered with
- Any notable marks to the slab/case (where present) are described or shown in images
VaultifyUK does not re-grade items or offer opinions beyond what is provided by recognised grading services.
Packaging & Handling
Every order is packed with care to minimise risk during transit.
- Items are protected using appropriate packaging materials
- Cards and collectables are secured to prevent movement, bending, or impact
- Orders are dispatched using reliable postal services
While every reasonable precaution is taken, minor packaging wear caused during transit may occur.
Important Notes for Collectors
- Condition assessments are based on visual inspection and best professional judgement
- Collectable value can fluctuate due to market demand and is not guaranteed
- VaultifyUK cannot be responsible for differences in personal interpretation where no undisclosed damage or defect is present
- Nothing on this page affects your statutory consumer rights
